Holistic
Healing Consultations Interested in exploring complementary veterinary
services for your pet? Dr. Kimberly Curtis is available
to discuss holistic healing and how it can help your pet.
She can holistically treat your pet using veterinary acupuncture,
veterinary chiropractic, herbs, supplements or other modalities that may
enhance and complement traditional veterinary medicine.
Weight
Management It's
a fact -- fit pets live longer, healthier and happier lives. Did you
know that in 2003 the National Research Council reported that over 25%
of dogs and cats in the U.S.
were obese? Integrative Pet Care can develop a customized weight loss and
management program for your pet to help prevent diabetes, orthopedic problems,
heart disease and many other ailments that can accompany excess weight.
Diet & Nutrition
Assessments Diet and nutrition are important to the health
and well-being of your pet and can play a critical role when managing things
like allergies, behavior, joint health and more. Our
veterinarians will review your pet's current diet and health status and make
recommendations accordingly. And there's no bias as Integrative Pet Care
does not sell, endorse or market pet food.
Sport
Specific Exercise Plans Do you live with a
flyball junkie? Or an agility hound? Integrative Pet Care can help
get your pet into optimum physical shape for her sport. Our staff of
experienced trainers will develop a customized plan to make sure your
pet has the strength and stamina to be at the top of his game -
whatever that game may be. Fitness Club Swimming is an
incredibly efficient exercise for your dog (and sometimes cats too!) as it
improves cardiovascular fitness, builds muscle and burns calories
while placing no stress on the joints. It's a great workout for
most any dog, but especially those high energy dogs. Integrative Pet
Care's hydrotherapy center features a resistance
swimming pool. All pets are fitted with life vests and a
staff member is working one on one with your pet at all times. We also
have an underwater
treadmill for those pets in need of a little practice in the water
before hitting the pool. For those pets who don't
like the water or just want to change it up a little, our Fitness Club can be
used for Therapeutic
Exercise and Therapeutic
Massage as well!
