Thank you for your interest in Integrative Pet Care, we look forward to
meeting you and your pet. To simplify things we have laid out what a
first visit tends to be like at our practice.
Before your pet is
eligible to start any therapies they will be seen by Dr. Molly Flaherty, Dr. Kimberly Curtis, Dr. Rosemary LoGiudice, Dr. Megan Ridley for an initial evaluation. It is required by
Illinois law that our veterinarians assess your pet before we are able
to provide treatment or prescribe any supplements or medications.
Your
visit will take anywhere between 60 to 90 minutes. We recommend
arriving at least 15 minutes prior to your appointment to find parking,
help your pet inside (we are happy to assist you) and fill out some new
client forms. The records from your primary care veterinarian are a
tremendous help, we need to review them at least 1 day prior to the
appointment. Your veterinarian can fax them to 773-269-2934 or email
digital files, radiographs or other images to
info@integrativepetcare.com. We will also email you a questionnaire, please fill that out and return it to us via email.
We are open Monday 1pm-8pm, Tuesday
through Thursday 8am-8pm, and Friday and Saturday 8am-3pm. On Mondays and Wednesdays from 8am-7pm Dr. Rosemary LoGiudice is available for appointments at our newest location in Hanover Park, IL. We see
patients by appointment only, feel free to contact us at 773-269-2964 to
schedule your first appointment.
If you are coming in for a
rehabilitation evaluation... At your pet's first appointment the
doctor will go over your pet's medical history with you, perform a
physical exam, perform a gait analysis and discuss the
treatments that they recommend for your pet's condition. After your
evaluation the veterinarian will write up a treatment plan for your
pet and update your primary care veterinarian with her findings. It generally takes 1-2 business days to receive this by email.
Soon after, the doctor or therapist that you met with will follow up
with you to answer any questions you may have about the treatment plan.
If
you are coming in for a TCVM/Holistic evaluation... At your pet's
first appointment the doctor will review your pet's medical history with
you, perform a physical exam, and discuss what treatments, diet
changes, herbs/supplements/homeopathics and/or therapies they
recommend. After the evaluation, your IPC veterinarian will update your primary care veterinarian with her findings.
If you would like a Patient Services Coordinator to contact you to answer your questions and schedule an appointment please fill out the form below and indicate your preferred method of contact. We will get back to you as soon as possible!
