When your pet comes to IPC for an orthopedic evaluation the DVM may determine that your pet would benefit from the assistance of an orthotic device or cart. There are many conditions that benefit from the use of one of these devices. Integrative Pet Care works in conjunction with an outside pedorthist for custom braces, wraps, and flippers. We can assist in the measurement and fitting process* for carts ordered through Eddies Wheels. There are also other orthotic resources that our practitioners can direct you to, for increased quality of life and better results from therapy.

Any patient that needs the assistance of an orthotic device or cart must
be thoroughly evaluated by an IPC veterinarian prior to determining
what would best benefit the pet. Most orthotic devices require a very accurate
and customized fit in order to be beneficial to the pet. A poorly fitting cart
or brace may worsen a pet's condition or create new problems. For this
reason our staff is available to assist you in taking measurements for
your pet. This appointment can be booked with our Patient Services team
once your pet has been seen by an IPC vet. We may also refer you to
Robin Spencer, a skilled pedorthist, who will meet you at IPC for a
consultation and the creation or measurement of the device needed.

Our assistance in measurements does not constitute a guarantee for the cart built by Eddies Wheels, including adjustments needed and final fit. All ordering, adjustments, questions and concerns must be addressed directly with Eddies Wheels.
